I purchased the Ultimate edition on Steam and used the CD keys to activate the product on Origin. The activation worked and all the DLC came up on Origin as installed, yet when I launched the game, nothing appeared in ANY of the DLC tab, they were empty, and the 'other campaign' option in the menu was greyed out, and I was unable to select it.

The Xbox gamepass doesn’t have the DLCs. If you previously owned the DLCs, you need to manually download them on the Xbox store page of DAO.
Accepted Solution. If you purchased the digital download version on EA/Origin, the DLC code would have been in an email from EA. If you purchased the physical disc version, it would have been on a separate slip of paper inside the case.
If you do that, you may have to reinstall your game and your DLC. Did you install your game through Steam or using a game disc? I just also realized, you can get "Dragon age Origins: Promotion pack" on orgin, but that is not available on the steam version because the bioware site is gone. So maybe what the game is telling you is wrong, and that they've changed it so that the downed website isn't necessary, but you still cannot get the extra goodies on the steam version now.

Both have managed to maintain a strong community of players even despite their age. The former was released on November 3, 2009 and the latter came out on November 11, 2008. I downloaded Dragon Age 2 (with everything all DLC) via Steam. I played this game like mad years ago, on 360. When I saw the "everything" edition for $7, I couldn't pass it up. I downloaded it, installed it, then tried to play. Sure enough, EA and their "you must sign up with/install origin" b.s. strikes. I have the exact same problem.
