The series has a very dark tone, revolving around a young man who, being upset with crimes and criminals getting away, uses a notebook with the power to kill those criminals. His noble intentions, however, are quickly lost and he abuses his power. The series throughout is very intense and suspenseful.

It is about a high school kid finding a notebook with great power. I rate it as this age because of the violence and way they speak. Their arent any bad words but it's the comprehension level. In a way, it can be confusing for 12 and under because people talk like detectives. This anime shows a high schooler having the motive to kill people
